Well, hello there Internet. Remember me? I used to write posts here. I’ve just returned from another crazy, unexpected trip up North, so until I get my shit together here are some random musings from the last week and a bit for your perusal.

Stumbling to the bathroom, sweaty and exhausted, after 3 delirious hours in bed. Great sex? Nope – my fever just broke.

Speaking of sex, I was having this FANTASTIC dream the other night involving a tall, dark hunk-a-hunk-a burning love. He was all love and sucking my toes…until I woke up and realized that it was actually the dog licking my feet.

Girl talking to her boyfriend, overheard on the bus:
“So, what do you think of my new clothes? Don’t I look great in them? I think they really make me look good. Don’t you think?”
Uhm…and I’M still single?

I’ve learned it’s very awkward to be introduced as someone’s “ALMOST SISTER-IN-LAW” by the ex-boyfriend’s sister to the ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend and mother of his child. So. Not. Good.

I know I should probably help my niece after she’s just clunked herself silly in the head with a hard object, but I’m laughing too hard. And I don’t want to spill my drink.
