Done.

I think I've handled the craziness of this past month and a half fairly well. Getting rear-ended? Ok. Burst pipe? Not the best, but let's deal. Crazy hot water tank? No worries. Living with my ma for almost 2 months? A-ok. Busted furnace? Getting a little tired of this stuff, but let's get it done. Lost luggage? Not fun. And on and on....

So today when my front door wouldn't close, it was like the straw that broke the camel's back. I officially lost it. Unfortunately it was while I was at work when one of my friends asked if I was ok. I think I looked a little wild-eyed and crazy. I'll get back to that.

My front door would not close. Would. Not. F*cking. Close. The front area heaved due to some very warm weather we've been having, so the door shifted and the lock wouldn't catch, making the door pop open just enough to see in. I tried everything - tried to unscrew plate to move it, but the screws are in too tight for my weak muscles. Wedging didn't work. Eventually, I left the f*cker open and went to work.

My friend K at work was the one who unfortunately dealt with my melt down, and called her husband (who also works in my building) to help me. So now I sit at home waiting for her lovely husband to come and fix my lock, because I can't seem to do anything myself. I am very lucky to have good friends who continue to save my *ss during what has been the strangest year by far.

I'm so done with this sh*t, I can't even tell you.
