Happy 2013 - Or, My Life, Part Three (AKA, Are You Serious 2013? What Did I Ever Do To You?)

So, yesterday I am boiling water to do my dishes (you know, because I have no hot water), and I decide to put in a load of laundry.

Only my washing machine has decided to go on the fritz. One washing machine full of sopping wet clothes.

I started laughing like a hyena because, really, what else could I do at this point? I'm a 40-year old woman who has to shower and do her laundry at my mother's place.
