I was about 5 minutes away from work this morning when I realized I was still wearing my slippers. Not the ballerina-type slippers, but the big-loafer kind I bought for my stay in the hospital. I also happened to be low on gas.
So, not only did I have to turn around, drive all the way back home, try to find my shoes, get back in the car and start the journey back to work, I also had to spend 15 minutes at the gas station because the little light thingy came on. Again. (And don't ask me why I don't pay attention to that thing more often. It's like, the LEAST of my worries, know what I mean?)
So, instead of being 20 minutes early, I was 15 minutes late for work. Yay me!
