Lately I've really been enjoying Sugarland's Incredible Machine cd. I think they are a fun group with great songs, and I really like their music.
I know this band's not everyone's cup of tea...the lead singer has a bit of a twang that rubs some people the wrong way.
For example:
The word 'over' comes out as 'o-vahr'.
'I' becomes 'ahye'.
'Again' turns into 'aygin-ah'.
'Flying' becomes 'flah-yin'.
'We are' turns into one word: 'wee-y-ahre'.
'Your' comes out as 'yuur'.
'Closer = 'clow-sahr'
At one point in one of the songs it sounds like she's yelling "Cowlick!" (the real word is 'Calling!')
Regardless, I'm throroughly enjoying it. Love, love, love.
