Frankie the Fruit Fly: An Obituary

On May 3, 2011, Frankie the Fruit Fly was called home after drowning in a water bottle during work hours. He was 2 weeks old.


Frankie loved his action-packed life, often dive-bombing unsuspecting workers and then seemingly disappearing before their very eyes. He out-manoeuvred even the fastest hand, dodging slaps and swats as he made his way through life. He was well-known around the office as ‘that blasted fruit fly’.

Frankie is survived by his brother, Fonzy (also known as ‘that other blasted fruit fly’). He was buried down the sink.
