Kurma Mac!

Apparently that means Holy Sh*t in Polish. I've been watching Under the Tuscan Sun for a few weeks on and off because I haven't watched it in years and every time I see that scene I laugh. Someone learning Polish while building a house in Italy. Perfect.

So, I went to see my sister and my pesky-brother-in-law for the weekend and OH MY GOD. Seriously. Need a cooking lesson? Go to them. Need to learn how to cook things you have never heard of? Go to them. Need to realize how easy it is to eat healthy and on budget? GO TO THEM! Every time I come back from that place I feel motivated, and I need to keep it going.

The drive there was uneventful, except when you hit highway 7, and then people start driving 60 in an 80 zone, and you can't pass because all of the f*cking traffic, and the farm vehicles, and then when you can you can't because there's a hill and OH MY GOD STOP THE MADNESS! You're going, like, 110 most of the way then 60 the last 2 hours?? No. No, no, no. No.

So, on the way home I was like "yay! I will not be doing 60 on the last leg!"

Then, I hit my home town. And there is a highway between where I work and where I live. And that highway has a speed limit of 80, so people normally go about 97 or so. After going 110 most of the way, I thought it best to put on my cruise control to 95 to follow the 2 cars in front of me, that were going 98 or 99. One in the right lane, one in the left. I chose to follow the one in the left.

And then, THEN, the started to brake. Both cars in both lanes...right brake lights. So I brake. Then they brake some more. I went from 95 to about 75. No worries. Maybe an accident?

And then they braked even more. down to 65. Now I'm going 60. Ok...maybe an animal on the road? But the cars in the other direction are not slowing down at all...and there are a lot of cars behind us.

So, I pull out a little to see if there is an accident (by now we're down to 50), and then I realize it: the 2 cars - the one on the left and the one on the right - are talking to each other through their windows. ON THE HIGHWAY! WITH LOADS OF CARS BEHIND THEM!!

Kurma Mac! I leaned on that horn so hard I thought I was going to break the car. I guess they finally realized what they were doing, because sure as sh*t they both took off.

I MAY have been a little impatient because I had just driven like, 8 hours...but Kura Mac! Dumbasses.
